He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer J. Steria and Grace Violet Steria (Zehr); his siblings, Carl, Herbert, Gabriel and Bonnie; and his siblings-in-law, James Dexter, Jack Rodgers and Mary Ellen Montgomery.

He is survived by:, Gary (Irene), Calvin, Roberta, Martha and Paul. He is also survived by the youngest of 11 siblings.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Croghan Mennonite Cemetery.
