Stephen G. Wilkes Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Stephen G. Wilkes (Bend, Oregon) is shared. Stephen, born on March 31, 1951, passed away on June 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Stephen will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Stephen by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Stephen is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Stephen’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jud Wilkes and Zita Wilkes; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Catterlin; his daughter Stephanie (Aaron); his granddaughter Alora; and his siblings, Tom (Jean), Mary and Catherine (Larry). He is also survived by brother's and sister's in-laws and countless nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Redmond VFW. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
