Vernon L. Threlkeld Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vernon L. Threlkeld of Bend, Oregon, born in Lebanon, Oregon, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Threlkeld and Leveda Threlkeld (Hiland); and his siblings, Mildred (Clifford), Virgil and Marjorie (Harlos).
He is survived by: his wife Kay Stein; his sons, Brian (Patricia Hswe), Craig and Todd (Anne Stevens); his stepdaughter Lara Handsfield (Craig Lundstrom); his grandchildren, Julian Threlkeld and Lydia Hswe; and his stepgrandsons, Evan Lundstrom and Nate Lundstrom. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.
