In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Vera had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Vera may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Roy and Nellie Mae Lewis (Chanslor); her spouse Kirby Lee Anderson; and her children, Alan, Stanley and Carolyn.
She is survived by: her children, Bobbie (Irma) and Roy. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the W. J. Ward Memorial Cemetery (1035 7th St, Brookings, OR 97415).
