We are sad to announce that, on March 7, 2026, at the age of 61, Merle Reid (Burns, Oregon) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merle Reid to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Reid and Susanne Reid. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Reid of Burns; his children, Anna Gahley of Burns, Ty Reid of Burns and Cassidy Reid of Boise; his grandsons, Brody Gahley and Brooks Reid; his siblings, Mark Reid, Michael Reid and Mary Sheppler; and his son-in-law Matson Gahley. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Contributions in Merle's memory can be made to Burns Hilander Baseball and/or Lady Hilander Softball.
