We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2023, at the age of 93, Richard Lewis Thissell (Burns, Oregon) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Thissell and Grace Thissell; and his siblings, Clyde, Walt, Glen, Bill, Don and Linda.

He is survived by : his wife Beverly June Gillett; his children, Sharon Mayfield (Steve) and LeRoy Thissell; his grandchildren, Brian Mayfield and Amy Strong; and his great grandchildren, Austin Strong, Jacob Strong, Sydney Mayfield and Isaac Mayfield. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews and nieces.
