Robert left this world on October 11, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David McDonald Jr. and Viola May Chambers; his sister Dorothy Jean McDonald; and his stepfather Henry Granat. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lee Culp; his former wife Patricia McDonald; and his children, Dorothy (Anthony Linville) of Rushville, Deborah (Randy Seaman) of Anchorage, Beverly (Brian LaFollette) of Burns and David P. McDonald of Burns, Oregon.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Burns Elks Lodge #1680 (118 N Broadway Ave, Burns, OR 97720).
