She was predeceased by: her parents, Valda Wey and Donald Van Wey; her husband Gary Bennison; and her siblings, Velma Schoonover, Vivian Gaspar, Denny Van Wey and Darrel Van Wey.
She is survived by: her children, Tonya Fox (Ron) of Burns and Ted Bennison (Beth) of North Bend; her grandchildren, Catherine Bennison (Rueben) of North Bend and Jonathan Bennison (Katie) of Coos Bay; and her sister-in-law Nancy Ray (Garry) of Belton, MO.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Valerie's memory can be honored by donations to Home Health and Hospice of Harney County.
