She was predeceased by: her parents, William Predeek and Elizabeth Predeek; her husband Clifford Leroy Holmes; her son David William Holmes; and her siblings, Clarence Predeek, Verna Scharbach, Wilbert Predeek, Mildred Miller, Paul Predeek, Marie Predeek (Raymond) and Donna Predeek Annen.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Holmes Smith, Carol Holmes Smith, Tom Holmes (Kathi Holmes), Don Holmes (Joyce), Joanne Holmes Wallis (Kimball), Sharon Holmes Arends (Phillip), Mike Holmes (Julie Beck), Janice Holmes Dollarhide and Kathy Holmes Mayfield (Wynn); and her daughter-in-law Andrea Hoppman. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A Mass was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (498 NW 9th Ave, Canby, OR 97013). A burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (1015 N Main St, Mt Angel, OR 97362).
