He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Joseph James Griffiths and Connie Ann Humphrey.
During James’ youth the family lived in Oregon, Colorado, and abroad in Germany. James participated in both football and basketball during high school. His love of these sports continued throughout his life. He was an avid football fan he spent his Saturday’s cheering on his Oregon Ducks and Sundays rooting for the Ram’s. Although he might not admit it; he also cheered for Nebraska, just not if they played the Ducks. James loved Western movies and classic rock n roll. James loved Louis L’Amour books. He loved to laugh and would talk to anyone and make them feel welcome.
He will be remembered for his tremendous ability to love, his laugh that would fill your soul with joy, his love of football and all things sweet. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Anna, many special pets including his beloved dog Chewy.
