He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Overton and Ida Overton; and his wife Charlotte Johnson Overton. He is survived by: his children, Brenda (Jeff), Vickie (Dean) and Kevin; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Joshua, Justin, Janelle, Kirsten and Emily; and his sisters, Martha Nell and Florine. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Canby Church of Christ (515 NW 4th Ave, Canby, OR 97013). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Rock Church Cemetery.
