He was predeceased by: his parents, Phyllis Woolen and Doial Woolen; his wife Susie; and his brothers, Jerry and Rodger.
He is survived by: his children, Alicia and Jesse; his brother Norman Woolen (Steffanie); his daughter Charity Smith (Dan); and his granddaughter Alicia James (Charlie). He is also survived by four children and four grandchildren.
