He was predeceased by: his parents, James Martin Gavin and Leona Gavin (Follett). He is survived by: his wife Karen Gavin (Cox); his children, Lorraine Craig, Olivia Gavin Sturgis, Jennie Gavin-Tremblay, Jake Cooper and Sarah Gavin; and his grandchildren, Layla and Jaxson Cooper. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
