With solemn reverence, we commemorate Bert Wilson of Coos Bay, Oregon, whose life came to an end on May 3, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving behind cherished memories. Though Bert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Wilson, Sr. and Luella May Bernhardt. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Wilson of Coos Bay; his children, Sharon Meyer of McMinnville and Tom Wilson of San Francisco, Calif.; and his grandchildren, Chris Meyer of Boulder, Colorado and Diane Estoista of Creedmoor. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church (1290 Thompson Rd, Coos Bay, OR 97420).
