William Hastings Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Hastings of Coos Bay, Oregon, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 14, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hastings and Helen Hastings (Palmer); and his brother Michael Hastings. He is survived by: his wife Carole Lee Parks; his son Carl (Kim Hastings) of Coos Bay; his granddaughter Mackenzie Hastings of Coos Bay; his great-nephew Tyler Hastings of Coos Bay; his pet Bandit; his nephew Roger Hastings; his siblings, Ed Hastings, San Diego, Calif, Dennis Hastings and Linda Briggs; his friends, Jerry, Laura Wharton, Eric and Mary Kohler; his sister-in-law Karen (Jerry Stillwell) of Longmont, CO; and his grandchildren, Nick Borgen of Spokane, WA, Dylan and Gavyn Grenade of Myrtle Point, OR.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Coos Bay Chapel (685 Anderson Ave, Coos Bay, OR 97420).
