She is survived by: her children, Juanita, McCauley Hospital and Dan; her daughter-in-law Betty Backman; her sons, Douglas Backman (Sharon Backman) and Dennis Backman (Teresa Backman) of Coquille; her stepson Richard Taylor (Diane Taylor) of Coos Bay; her grandchildren, Jenny Forbes, Julie Norris Rencehausen, Dondi Armstrong, Dustin Backman, Nick Backman, Joe Norris, Ed Backman, Jeff Backman, Brian Backman, Jeremy Taylor, Jeff Taylor and Ryan Taylor; her brother Dr. Robert Furguson of Corpus Christi, TX; and her sister-in-law Gloria Furguson.
