It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charlotte Rae Thompson of Corvallis, Oregon, who passed away on May 10, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Charlotte is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Charlotte's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Verna Emma Ralls (Woodcock) and Charles Wesley Ralls; her sister Georgia Ann; and her brother-in-law Ted Szydlo. She is survived by: her children, Eric Thompson (Carrie), Courtenay Thompson (Rick Attig) and Gina Thomas (Vaughn); her caregiver Jenna Kahl; and her friend Shannon Corbin. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

We were unable to hold a memorial for Gene since he died during the pandemic, so we want to celebrate them both this year.
