She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Varsell (Erickson) and Roland Norman Varsell of West Hartford, Connecticut.; her brothers, Robert and Richard; and her son Kip.
She is survived by: her children, Jasper and Beckie Hemenway (Jay); her grandchildren, Haidan SmithWilliams, Rowan Williams and James LeClair (Deserie Balbaneda); and her great grandchild Achilles Balbaneda LeClair.
