He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, DeWitt Seals and Josie Seals (Fitchue); his daughters, Gayle (Mark McFarland) and Vickie (Greg Leathers); his siblings, Robert Seals of Los Angeles, CA and Hazel Jean Leatherwood of Jonestown, TX; and his grandchildren, Gregory Leathers, Tobi Leathers, Colby McFarland and Chelsea McFarland. He was also cherished by 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
