It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Lois Black of Cottage Grove, Oregon, born in Hale Center, Texas, who passed away on April 21, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elzie Langham and Martelie Langham (Echoles); her husband Arvlin "Mutt" Black; her grandson Christopher A. Black; her siblings, Virgil, Joyce, Ronald, Ruth and Wendell; and her daughter-in-law Diane Black.
She is survived by : her sons, Clinton A. Black of Curtin, OR, Gary L. Black (Sue) of Curtin, OR and Kevin D. Black (Catherine); and her siblings, Melba Kokko of Creswell, OR, Reba Kokotan of Springfield, OR and Elmo G. Langham of Rathburn, ID. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
