Hattie Ruth Parks Obituary
Hattie Ruth Parks was born August 31, 1930 in Wrightsville, GA. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 1, 2020 in Cottage Grove, Oregon.
Hattie loved Oregon and enjoyed walking through the rose garden and sitting by the Willamitte River. She loved gardening and plants. Football season was always a big deal and she looked forward to watching it with her family. She spent the majority of her life taking care of others, working in the hospital and as an in-home caretaker for the elderly. She ensured that others spent their last years well taken care of.
In return, she spent her last years in the care of Maureen at Guardian Angel Elder Care. Maureen was her guardian angel and treated Hattie like family ensuring she had everything she needed.
Hattie will be missed for her spunky personality and the lifelong memories she created with her family. She will forever be remembered for perseverance to keep on going no matter what life threw at her. She taught the importance of determination and that there is always a solution for every problem. We love her so much and will always honor her and the years of memories she gave us.
