She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schaffer and Bonnie Schaffer; her brother Marvin; and her husband Bob. She is survived by: her children, Bob (Molly), Nanci Strickland (Larry), Julie Bauder and Jana Bauder Potucek (Charlie Potucek). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
