As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jay may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearkins Miller and Agnes Blackmore Miller; his son Steven Miller; his brother Wallace Miller; his grandson Justin Turpin; and his wife Phyllis.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carol King, Loleta Allen and Ivan; and his children, Richard Miller, Nancy Shepherd, Sally Lassiter Cash and Joyce Miller. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews.
