He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Morss Sr. and Katherine Gildersleeve Morss; and his brother Leon "Lynn" Morss Jr. (Agatha "Gaye"). He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughter Katrina Morss Commesso (Gerard "Rod"); his brother William "Bill" Morss; his grandchildren, Olivia, Ryan (Kayce) and Graham Commesso; his great grandchildren, Angelo and Charlotte "Lottie" Commesso; his sister-in-law Agatha "Gaye" Morss; and his cousins, Cathy Gildersleeve DeGarlais and Janet "Jana" Morss Boos. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and other cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel (123 S 7th St, Cottage Grove, OR 97424). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at 2148 Cemetery Rd, Cottage Grove, OR 97424.
