Carolyn leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Carolyn’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Carolyn will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell Hightower and Verna Hightower (Shaw); her husband John B. Selstad; and her brothers, Bill and Max Hightower.
She is survived by: her children, David Selstad (Terry) of Milner, Georgia and Karen Sharkey (Paul) of Creswell, Oregon. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
