She was predeceased by : her parents, Melanie and Rudolph Schuhart; her husband Donald Bird; her son Don Bird; and her sister Lora Allred.

She is survived by : her children, Greg Bird (Patti), Larry Bird (Cindy) and Sandi Bird Bogue (Walt); her nephew Eric Allred (Ingrid); and her extended family, Ruth Kremer (Don Bird) and Carolyn Kelly Eden.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sweet-Olson Family Mortuary (825 A St, Orland, CA 95963). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Dominic Catholic Church (822 A St, Orland, CA 95963).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Dominic Catholic Church or to Jefferson Lodge Memory Care 664 SE Jefferson St. Dallas, OR 97338 in appreciation for their wonderful care of Alice.
