He was predeceased by: his parents, David Giesbrecht Sr. and Sarah Penner; his great grandchildren, Tierra Reynolds and Ainsley Giesbrecht; and also Jan.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Rainey (Michael), Donald Giesbrecht (Beverly) and Gerald Giesbrecht (Carol); and his grandchildren, David, Chris, Eddie, Sheri, Jenni, Charlie, Kaci, Jonnie, Nathan, Bonnie, Nikki, Jeff, Jamie and Jennifer. He is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salt Creek Cemetery. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Creek Baptist Church (15075 Salt Creek Rd, Dallas, OR 97338).
