It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Grace Janzen of Dallas, Oregon, who passed away at the age of 101, on July 20, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tobias Schmidt and Agnes Schmidt (Linscheid); her husband Clarence Janzen; and her siblings, Jewelle Peters and Bill Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Hicks (Patrick), James Janzen and Cathy Aime (Nick); her grandchildren, Sarah Hicks, Michael Hicks (Jennifer), Alisha Koons (Evan) and Lilly Aime; and her great grandchildren, Daniel, Isaac Hicks and Lane Koons. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Evangelical Bible Church (1175 SE Howe St, Dallas, OR 97338).
In honor of Grace's life, memorial contributions may be made to Dallas Weekday School of the Bible or the Salem Union Gospel Mission, in care of the Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center at 287 SW Washington St. Dallas, Oregon 97338.
