He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Balsbaugh and Blanche Balsbaugh; his sons, Edwin and Richard Balsbaugh; and his grandchildren, Ashley and Matt.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Denlinger; his children, Joan Gentry, James Balsbaugh, Jan Constable and Sherri Grover; and his siblings, Sue Flora, Jean, Ann Mohler, George Balsbaugh and Carol Hively. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
