He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Thomas; his children, Eric McKown of Amity, OR and Carrie Hagedorn (Brett) of Dallas, OR; his grandson Luke Hagedorn of Dallas, OR.; his brothers, Leroy "Bud" McKown of Sutherlin, OR and Arthur "Bill" McKown of Longmont, CO; and his stepsister Lilly Armstrong of Dallas, OR.
