He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Boyd and Alpha Boyd (Henry); his wife Rose Boyd; his brothers, Gorden Boyd, Willard Boyd and Jerry Boyd; his brother-in-law Ted McConnell; and his daughter-in-law Marie Boyd.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Johnson of La Grande, OR, William Boyd (Tanya) of Pasco, WA and Patrick Boyd of Elgin, OR; his sisters, Marilyn McConnell of Oregon City, OR and Linda Larkins of Caldwell, ID; his sister-in-law Becky "Royal" Boyd of La Grande, OR; and his grandchildren, Taylee Boyd, Siah Boyd, Naya Boyd, Jeph Sorsdahle, Mathew Green, Chelsea Stores, Jacob Nettleton and Jazmine Nettleton. He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews and 17 foster children.
