We announce the death of Donald Lee Ballantyne (Estacada, Oregon), who passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 77. Donald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Donald will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Donald will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Donald’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Ballantyne and Freeda Ballantyne; and his brother Dale Ballantyne. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Ballantyne; his sons, Lance Ballantyne (Kimberly) and Brad Ballantyne (Angie); his stepchildren, Jessica Radel (Nate), Jennifer Kerns (Eugene), Josh Taylor and Jeremy Taylor; and his sister Nancy Ballantyne. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Estacada Funeral Chapel (110 W 1st Ave, Estacada, OR 97023).
