He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Courtain (Ernie) and Lois Courtain; his sister Carolyn Barnett; and his grandson Matthew William Courtain. He is survived by: his sons, Derek (Stephanie) and Brandon; his grandchildren, Morgan and Allison; and his sister Nancy.
