He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Wheeler and Edna Wheeler (Klug); and his siblings, DeEtte (Fountain), Rolland, Yvonne (Eastburn), Ailene (Dalby), Delmert and Lanea (Eaton).
He is survived by: his wife Delia A. Russell; his children, Deena Swartout (Steve), Steve (Dawn) and Brad (Michelle); his grandchildren, Jonathan Swartout (Marissa), Erinn Stevens (Cole), Micah (Caitlin), Sarah Sveda (John), Ariel and David; and his sister Charlene Wanner (Paul). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
