She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice Merten (Maury). She is survived by: her brother Gerald Breazeale (Marsha); and her sibling's children, Chandra Caffery (Vince), Adam Breazeale (Andrea), Ashley Breazeale and Keshia Norman (Max).

Donations in Bonnie's honor may be made to the Pearl Buck Center and Camp Harlow.
