He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Waddell and Anna Waddell (Widmar). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Whittle; his children, Peter, Christina Lund (Marc), Matthew and James; his stepson Timothy Whittle (Emily); and his sisters, Mary Ann Grelinger and Carole Jean Barry. He is also survived by grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:40 AM and at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (1025 N 19th St, Cottage Grove, OR 97424). A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at 2148 Cemetery Rd, Cottage Grove, OR 97424. A reception will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, Don requested contributions be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Cottage Grove, or to Cascade Hospice.
