In the vast expanse of eternity, may Elaine find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Curits Simplson and Marion Simpson (Jackson); and her daughter Candy. She is survived by: her former husband Donald Reece; her daughter-in-law Phyllis; her sons, John, Larry and Rob (Candy); and also Ric. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

A Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Calendar St. Paul Catholic Church (1201 Satre St, Eugene, OR 97401).

In lieu of flowers her family requests donations be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.

“John, Larry, and Rob, and families, we wanted to convey our deepest sympathy for your loss. Aunt Elaine was a dynamic and engaging individual who I wish I could have spent more time with. Her stories, her laugh, and her mannerisms reminded me of my mother, Darlene, with a west coast accent. Although Aunt Elaine’s passing is a sad event I know she led a full life to the end.
