He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hugh Byrne and Millie Judith Edna (Marsh); his wife Doris; his daughter Nancy; his siblings, Clement (Berniece), Jerald (Pearl), Donald (Isla), Tony (Wanda), Berniece (Roger), Mary (Bob) and Adeline (Jim); and his brothers-in-law, Darrell (Vi) and Walt Kilworth (Nadine).
He is survived by: his children, Steve Byrne (Denise Bray), Sue Doorly (George), Greg Byrne (Susie), Julie Mackintosh (Greg) and Patrick Byrne (Amy Tuttle); his grandchildren, Stephanie Doorly (Colin Lince), Nicole Doorly (Joe Turic), Andrus Thompson (Josh), Henry Alonzo Harper, Grant Mackintosh (Caprice Macri) and Emma Mackintosh (Hayden Long); and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Claire Turic and Theodore Hugh Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
