He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Long and Lois Long; his wife Sally Long; and his siblings, Judy Reyneke (Tony) and Steve Long (Marcee). He was also cherished by stepchildren, grandchildren, a great aunt, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Donations in his honor may be made to any youth musical organization, the American Diabetes Foundation, or Oregon Public Broadcasting.
