He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Zelda Maurene Marsh Hamby and Frank Kennedy Hamby; his grandparents, Creat Inman Marsh and Bennie S. Marsh; his wife Johnnie Johnson; his children, Yvette Hamby, Shawn Hamby and Brooke Troute (Michael Whitman); his siblings, Linda Hefty (Eric), Randy Hamby (Bev), Brian Kirkpatrick (Louise), Judy Tucker and Roger Kirkpatrick (Sherry); his stepfather Ray Harwood; and his brothers, Alan and Frank Hamby. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Crow Grange or the Applegate Pioneer Museum in his memory.
