She was predeceased by: her husband Burt P. Schwarz, Jr.; her son Ross Schwarz; and her parents, Edward Stanton Thorn and Sarah Greer Thorn. She is survived by: her siblings, Trudy Scott (John) and Woodfin Thorn (Ann); and her daughters, Tina Schnapper (Marc) and Beth Kastner (Patrick). She is also survived by her six grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
