She was predeceased by: her parents, Matie and Everett; and her husband Reginald "Jean" Walthall. She is survived by: her daughters, Shari (Pete) and Shelly (Chris); and her sister Maxine (Herb). She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to House of Dreams, a local cat shelter in Portland.
