He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Rychlik and Frances Rychlik (Sasak); his son Scott Alan Rychlik; and his brother Alan Francis Rychlik. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jeannine McGinnis; his daughter Jennifer Rychlik (Curt Ward) of Gales Creek; and his grandchildren, Emma and Lizzy. He is also survived by two sisters, two brothers, and many nieces and nephews.
