As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Elwin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Hukill and Jesse Hukill (Stringer); his son Ron Hukill; and his sisters, Betty Mullen and Bonnie.
He is survived by: his wife Deana Buchanan; his daughter Sandy (Mike Rice) of Buxton; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Hukill of Texas; and his sister Linda Watson. He is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dayspring Christian Fellowship (13750 NW Main St, Banks, OR 97106).
