She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl "Kalle" Wahlbom and Saima Wahlbom (Maki); her husband Richard "Dick" Smith; and her son Kevin. She is survived by: her daughter Vicky; her son-in-law Bill VanDomelen of Banks; and her granddaughters, Kaylin Schmidlkofer (Gerritt) of Forest Grove and Hannah VanDomelen of Forest Grove. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church of Forest Grove (2231 19th Ave, Forest Grove, OR 97116).
