He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Brown and Lucy Brown; and his brother James. He is survived by: his former wife Rita Canfield; his wife Patrice; his children, Robert, Max and Cindy (Schiewe); and his stepchildren, Gordon Spath and Karen Spath (Fine). He is also survived by five grandsons and two granddaughters, one great- grandson and two great-granddaughters.
