It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rubena L. Sheppard (Forest Grove, Oregon), born in Hogeland, Montana, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis K. Modic and Agnes Modic (Godec); and her husband Bill. She is survived by: her daughter Kandes; her son-in-law Victor "Dick" Stonelake of Elkton; her son James; her daughter-in-law Denise Sheppard of Ridgefield; her children, Thomas "Tom" Sheppard of Cornelius and Karla (Robert Keller); and her grandchildren, Julie Connors of Roseburg, Oregon, Doug (Laurie Connors), Kathy (Matt Rurup), Darcie Williams of Paradise, Arizona, Derrick (Kathy Sheppard), Mason Keller (Madelyn Keller) and Tevita Taufa of St. George, Utah. She is also survived by her thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
