It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Allen Smith in Foster, Oregon, born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Smith Jr. and Patricia Waunell Persons (Tuck); and his sister Becky Knopf. He is survived by: his children, Tim Quezada, Shannon Quezada-Willhite (Greg), Luke Smith (Alexis) and Jake Smith (Tiana); his siblings, Jerry Smith, Jackie Godsey (David), Terry Smith and Johnny Smith; and his stepfather Larry Persons (Veneta). He is also survived by six nieces and nephews, four grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
In lieu of sending flowers, James asked for family & friends to consider planting a Butterfly Bush or Lilac Bush in your garden in his memory.
