He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Forrest and Juanita Pearl Snyder (Wilson); his siblings, Elmer Fred, Betty Mae (Teasley), Juanita Kay Brown (Armstrong) and June Snyder (Mickelson); his wife Joan Claudette; his son-in-law Ken Tams; and his grandson Robert Stansell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Piney Stansell (David), Paula Curtis (Marty), Patti Stephens (Eddie), Pam Hankins (Duane) and Peggy Sanders (Daniel). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
