It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hazel Kruse of Grants Pass, Oregon, born in Pocatello, Idaho, who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orrin Raymond Benson and Annie Asenath Smith; her son Theodore Clair (Teddy); her grandson Robby; and her husband Ted.
She is survived by: her children, Robert George (Robby) of Ridgecrest, LuAnne Brannies (Gary) of Springfield, Janeen Johansen (Kevin) of St. George and Kathy Smith Best (Tony) of Vista; and her daughter-in-law Helen Kruse of Grants Pass. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (747 NE Savage St, Grants Pass, OR 97526). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eagle Point National Cemetery (2763 Riley Rd, Eagle Point, OR 97524).
